Linda and Ron's Story
Linda and Ron had been living in Stratford-upon-Avon for over 40 years in a four bed semi-detached property. Situated on an established estate, everyone’s lives were busy and as such, Linda and Ron rarely saw any of their neighbours.
Both being in their 70’s and with Ron struggling with ill health, they decided they were in need of a more relaxed lifestyle, a more easily maintainable home and garden, but still able to remain close to their family.
They decided to take the leap and make the move to Marston Edge.
The Life-Changing Move to Residential Park Home Living
Shortly after moving into Marston Edge, Ron underwent surgery. Along with the surgery and the smooth move to a beautiful home at Marston Edge, he is now a different person.
Linda and Ron’s daughters share how their parents’ lives have been transformed since the move to residential park home living and how they have proven that it is never too late to make the change.
Having their home on one level means they have minimal cleaning, leaving them with plenty of time to spend tending to their easily maintained garden, sitting on their decking overlooking the wheat fields, chatting with their neighbours or enjoying some of the site owner’s cider. Not to forget their sports too, where they enjoy playing a spot of Bowling on site and now to add to the mix, a new Petanque for the summer evenings.
