Welcome to the Riverside Venue
Located on the banks of the beautiful River Avon, within the grounds of Stratford Parks, our venue is open to holiday guests and the public. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy quality time with family and friends.
Choose from two distinct dining experiences: The Muddy Oar Bar, offering relaxed dining with no need to book, and The Galley Kitchen Restaurant, providing evening dining, cook your own lava stone steak and Sunday lunch where you can admire the spectacular riverside views.
Enjoy our Upper Deck, which hosts seasonal events such as live music, bingo, and comedy nights. There’s plenty for little ones too, in and around the venue, from crazy golf and a children’s play park to movie nights and seasonal events like the funfair and circus. We also have space available to hire for private functions and events.

The Muddy Oar Bar
A stylish bar and lounge area, The Muddy Oar offers cosy seating booths and a selection of mouth-watering food and drink. Booking isn’t required, tables are on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Galley Kitchen
Join us for a unique dining experience from our sizzling lava stone menu to the traditional Great British Sunday roast, with beautiful riverside views. Table bookings are required.

Parking at the Riverside Venue
We would like to inform you about the parking charges now in place at our Riverside Venue car park. Free parking is available for guests at The Riverside Venue, but you must follow the parking process below…
Here’s How it Works:
Payment: Please pay for parking at the ticket machine upon arrival.
Redemption: You can redeem the parking cost when you eat or drink at our bar or restaurant. Simply show your parking receipt to our team. This offer is valid only on the day shown on the parking receipt.
Minimum Spend: To redeem the full parking amount, your food or drink bill must be at least equal to the parking ticket cost. If your bill is less, you will not receive the full parking refund.
Important: If you stay longer than the period you paid for, please pay the additional amount at the ticket machine before leaving. Keep the receipt to avoid any fines from the parking company. Please note that the car park is operated by an independent company, and any charges or fines are managed by them directly. The Riverside Venue cannot be held responsible for any issues pertaining to the car park.
