With the school holidays fast approaching, many parents are looking for affordable ways to keep the children entertained. That’s why this summer Riverside is supporting the Government’s Great British Summer Savings initiative, passing VAT savings and more directly on to families to help make summer days out that little bit more affordable.
Children Eat for just £4
Whether you’re popping in for lunch after a riverside walk or making a day of it, Riverside offers great value family dining throughout the summer holidays.
Children’s main meals are just £4, while a meal, drink and ice cream can be enjoyed for only £6, making it easier for families to enjoy quality time together without stretching the budget.
Half Price Children's Activities
The savings don’t stop at the restaurant.
From 25th June, children can enjoy crazy golf for just £1.50* and bike hire for only £5*. Families can also make the most of paddleboarding, riverside walks and the popular children’s play area, all set within Riverside’s beautiful riverside surroundings.
Arrive by River Taxi
Why sit in traffic when you can arrive by boat?
Open to both local residents and holiday park guests, Riverside has its very own River Taxi, offering a unique way to travel between Stratford-upon-Avon and the venue. Departing from the rowing club opposite the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, it runs daily from 10am until 5:30pm**.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the views as you cruise along the river before arriving right outside Riverside Venue Bar and Restaurant.
Summer Events for all the Family
Movie Mondays bring family favourites to the giant outdoor screen, while Wear Them Out Wednesdays offer crafts, trails and activities designed to keep little adventurers busy. Board games are available daily in The Muddy Oar, and live music creates a fantastic atmosphere every Friday and Saturday evening.
One of the biggest highlights of the summer calendar is Alfie’s Funfair and Dinosaur Show, running from 25th July to 2nd August. With family rides, attractions and a thrilling live dinosaur experience, it’s set to be a roaring success with children of all ages. Tickets are just £9.99 for a three-hour session, offering great value family entertainment.
Launch & Relax
For those looking to spend a day on the water, Riverside is also offering a fantastic value visitor parking pass.
For just £15, visitors can park for the day and enjoy access to Riverside’s beautiful stretch of the River Avon, including the opportunity to launch their own paddleboards, relax by the water, and enjoy food and drinks from the venue.
