Solstice Summit Success: Avon Estates Raises £1,200 on Snowdon Sunrise Hike
The Avon Estates Team Complete Snowdon at Sunrise for Summer Solstice
The team at Avon Estates raise over £1,200 in support of The Shakespeare Hospice.
On Saturday 21st June, the team from Avon Estates set off under starlit skies to take on Mount Snowdon, with the goal of reaching the summit by 4:50am, in time to greet the sunrise.
For some, this was their first time taking on Snowdon or tackling a serious hike but with courage and a cause worth every step, they were all determined to get to the summit.
Despite the hot temperatures and tough incline, Nic, Sharon, Nikki, Stephen, Mark, Stuart, Ryan, Emma, Rob and Phil, representing various departments from across Avon Estates, can proudly say that they completed the challenge.
But this wasn’t just about the mountain, it was about making a difference.
Thanks to everyone’s incredible support, we’ve raised a fantastic £1,240 for The Shakespeare Hospice, offering palliative and end of life care to patients and their loved ones across South Warwickshire.
