Picture yourself on a warm summer evening, drink in hand, as Ed Sheeran takes over our outdoor stage!! Well, we know it’s not likely to be the real Ed Sheeran (unless his agent wants to get in touch…) but we’ve got some incredible tribute acts lined up this year, as well as plenty of local musicians, all bringing someone new and unique to the Muddy Oar Bar. There’s nothing quite like live music by the river as the sun sets, and we can’t wait for you to experience it – get ready to sing and dance the night away!
For our four-legged friends and their lovely humans, Cruftside is back this May Bank Holiday! Our infamous annual dog show is a tail-wagging extravaganza, filled with fun competitions, activities, and a huge array of stalls selling gifts, delicious treats, and dog-friendly goodies. Whether your pooch is a seasoned pro or just here for the belly rubs, this is a weekend you won’t want to miss. Find out more here.
Summer brings The Big Reunion Festival, where live music takes centre stage for an all-day celebration of local music talent and good vibes. It’s all about great tunes, delicious food, and an unbeatable atmosphere. Gather your friends together for an epic event on the 23rd and 24th August, grab a drink, and let the music take over as we bring together an incredible line-up for a weekend to remember.
As the nights draw in, we’re going BIG for Halloween this year! Our Fireworks Spectacular on the 31st October is back and bigger than ever, lighting up the night sky with an explosion of colour. Expect spooky games, family-friendly activities, warming seasonal refreshments, and plenty of surprises to keep the thrills going all night long. Get your best costume ready and join us for a night of magic and mayhem!
And let’s not forget Easter! Our Easter Family Fun Weekend is the perfect way to celebrate the arrival of spring with an exciting mix of games, crafts, live music, and fun for all ages. Whether you’re hunting for eggs, getting crafty, or simply soaking up the lively atmosphere in the (hopeful) sunshine, this is an event that guarantees smiles all around.
Of course, our regular favourites are here to keep the good times rolling throughout the year. Quiz nights will test your knowledge, bingo nights will bring out your competitive side, and karaoke will have you belting out your favourite tunes with friends old and new.
