Q: Can friends and family use my holiday home?

Yes of course, your friends and family are more than welcome!

Q: Are dogs allowed on the park?

Yes, we love to see your dogs here too. We have a dedicated dog walking field and the bar is also dog-friendly.

Q: Can I live in my holiday home?

No, your holiday home is for holiday use only. You must have a permanent residential address and provide proof of this when buying your holiday home.

Q: Do I own the land on which my holiday home is sited?

No, you own your holiday home but not the land upon which it is sited.

Q: Can I sublet my holiday home?

Subletting commercially is not permitted but friends and family are of course more than welcome and guess what  – they also receive the discounts and benefits of ownership with your discount card!

Q: Are there any exclusive events or facilities just for holiday home owners?

We hold regular events for owners which are held both inside and outside, we love to give our owners the chance to come together and enjoy the lifestyle and community available here at Stratford Parks.

Q: Can I upgrade my holiday home in the future?

Absolutely! Many of our current owners decide to find something bigger and better than their current holiday home every year, simply contact the sales team who will guide you to your next dream holiday home.

Q: How long can I keep my holiday home on the park?

Our owners have a whopping 30 years from new licence meaning they can enjoy their brand-new holiday home for many years to come. If you decide to purchase one of the amazing pre-owned holiday homes then the age of the home is simply deducted from the 30 years licence.

Q: What running costs do I need to consider before purchasing my holiday home?

There are ongoing costs involved in owning a holiday home such as electricity, gas, insurance and site fees. Make sure you understand these before making a purchase.

Q: How many months can I use my holiday home for?

We offer a 10 month season on our parks and you can use your holiday home as many times as you wish during this period.

Q: Can I part exchange my holiday home from a different park?

Absolutely! We endeavour to help all families from all parks and we offer very competitive part exchange values to help you with your quest, ask the team for more information and your no obligation cost to change.

Q: Will my holiday home be secure when I am not there to use it?

We have 24 hour security on the park and barriers at the entrances.

Q: How much is the deposit to purchase a holiday home?

Our funding partners Blackhorse require a minimum 10% deposit on all their packages which will help you spread the cost of your new lifestyle, speak to the team who can tailor make your individual package based on your personal budget and needs.

Q: Do I need to pay council tax to the local authority?

No, there are no council tax costs on the holiday homes here as you will always have a separate residential property.

Q: Do I need a TV license for my holiday home?

No, you are covered by your TV license for your residential address.

Q: Is buying a holiday home a good investment?

A holiday home is a great investment in your leisure time, but should be viewed as a lifestyle choice and not as an investment to provide financial return.
